when I play games or browse videos, there is a tiny white box in the top right corner, when I click it a window opens asking if I want to make a exception and allow the player, most of the time it allows me to see the videos or play the games. When I used it on a game I was playing it completely blanked it out. I can't play it now cause it is just a white box. How do I undo this?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
