when a site uses flash, for example cam4 (a chat/camera website like Chatroulette), if i click a name from the users list on the chat section to open their profile on a new tab, the whole browser will freeze for about 5 seconds and then it will open the new tab.

however when using chrome or ie i don't have that problem. i have disabled addons, made a new profile. nothing works.

i have come to the conclusion that it's the websites fault, since friends that use the same website and firefox also face the issue.

now the big question. is this browser lock related to the flash itself? or it's because firefox doesn't sandbox/multi-process it's processes?

This is not a cure, but should let the web page load without crashing.

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it

Can you post a public link to that web page?
