Searchinternet-a.akmaihd.net has taken over Firefox. It has disabled the search box and keeps over laying a Yahoo browser. ( If this is what Yahoo have come too, to get people to use them they are going to go out of business double quick). When options are reset it changes them back to its options, Have tried several malware removal tools but it comes back. How do I manually remove it? Have also reinstalled Firefox but it makes no difference.

Hi, please try working through How to remove Searchinterneat-a.akamaihd.net (Guide) by Malware Tips.

Note that not all removal programs will detect all malware, so you may need to run several or all of them.

After removal you may need to reset your home page and search, which you can do by running the add-on SearchReset.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.
