My bank statements print with scribbling, making them impossible to read only when printing from firefox on my mac. troubleshooting instructions didn't work.

When I print my bank statements they are obscured with large overlapping outlined letters. These do not show on the screen when viewing the printable statement, but they do show when I open the PDF in preview. The problem does not occur if I use Safari as the browser, so that's how I've been getting around it, but I would like to fix firefox so I can use it even when I want to print my statements.

Banks often offers statements in PDF form to preserve the formatting. In that case, you do not need to print them again, you should be able to save them directly to disk.

Forgot to mention, different PDF viewers have different ways of displaying the download/save button.

For Firefox's built-in viewer, it's a black bar along the top of the PDF with a download (arrow) icon.

For Adobe's viewer, I don't know, I have an older version than you, and I use Windows.
