Thank you for the crash report, but that one is from August with Firefox 54 (and it was after about 4 hours of uptime, so not the same type of crash you have now).
For your startup crash, are you getting the Mozilla Crash Reporter or a Windows crash dialog?
Hello,
Thanks for your reply. It does not really crash during startup. It just gives a windows error about breakpoint reached.
I have also disabled hardware acceleration without results. The error message persists when started in Safe Mode.
I've rechecked and it seems like the abovementioned crash report is the only one that is dated in 2017.

I have also ran a Malware scan, also uninstalled and reinstalled Mozilla Forefox. The error message regarding seems to only appear when a new tab is made. 'Breakpoint reached'
Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you. As I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues.
Please uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved.
Firefox 56.0.2 is current release https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ Full Version Installer
The issue may be in your profile. Will work on that if have to after completing the above.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Hello,
Thanks for your reply. A different PC is used for submitting of this question.
I performed the steps you mentioned, unfortunately windows Breakpoint error is still there when a new tab is made or used.
The crash reports are a shutdown hang where Firefox takes too long to close down and a crash is forced Is usually associated with Flash or Video Card Drivers.
Everything in that old crash report points to Video Card Drivers.
Even though there is a lot of Firefox crashing it does not point to a single issue like most reports.
Gotta update them to rule them out. So hope to hear back that updating the drivers for what ever card you have since did not enlighten us with what the real system has going on it. That would have been constructive as well as informative.

Hmm, this sounds a bit different --

'Breakpoint reached'
Then what happens? Does Firefox close or can you dismiss the message and continue on?
Do you use the regular built-in new tab page with tiles showing sites from your history?

The (Windows breakpoint reached) error appears everytime when a new tab is made (Ctrl + T or "+"). It's the regular built-in new tab page which shows several (I assume history, is not my laptop) websites in a few windows.
I can dismiss the message, but pages just stay blank after typing in an irl, iirc trying to use a tab also pops the error.
I assume there is no Firefox crash report because Firefox itself doesn't crash/shut down.
You could blank the new tab page and see whether that makes any difference. There is a gray "wheel" icon on the right side of the page which has the option to "Show blank page". Does that make any difference?
A recent issue:
One of the main effects of the Firefox 56.0.1 update was to migrate 64-bit Windows users from the traditional 32-bit version of Firefox to the 64-bit version. We've received a number of puzzling reports of Firefox either not starting (probably due to incompatibilities with 64-bit drivers that Firefox expects/requires) or not loading any pages after this migration.
If your updates do not resolve the issue, it is worth trying a return to 32-bit Firefox.
While normally this kind of change is seamless -- the installer detects your existing data and preserves everything -- you might want to make a backup "just in case."
- Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles
- How to opt out of 32-bit Firefox migration to 64-bit
Note: If you decide to try 64-bit Firefox on the same system at some point in the future, see: How to switch from 32-bit to 64-bit Firefox.
