If I load Firefox on trial, 1)will it co-exist with my other browser? And can I uninstall it completely, if need be?

I have had bad luck with Firefox in the past. I am willing to try this new "Quantum" version, but do not want problems with it co-existing with Chrome and Edge, both installed now.

My problem in the past is that closing Firefox often eft the executable running in memory. Then, I could not run it again, because i got the message "it is already running." i was then forced to use Task Manager to close it, in order to re-open and use it.

sure, you can install firefox next to your existing browsers - they won't interfere with each other. if you're not keeping it, just uninstall the browser normally through your system control panel. if you have had issues with firefox in the past i'd also recommend to reset it in order to get a fresh start: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
