I had to completely uninstall Firefox 5.0.2 and reinstall. I have a folder on my desktop called "Old Firefox Data". I assume this is my old Bookmarks, addons, etc. How do I get that data on my new installation?

Thanks,

jbacinti

Copy everything in that folder over.

Hello, Open 'Old Firefox Data' and copy all the data inside that folder. Now open Firefox and head on over to about:profiles by typing it in your URL Bar. Click on the Open Folder button under the Local Directory. Then paste the data from 'Old Firefox Data' into that new profile folder. Restart Firefox. And you should be good to go!

Old Firefox Data folder has a real long file name. When I open i, here are 11 other folders and then 20 other files. Do I just copy the folder with the long file name or do I just copy the folders and files in it?

Copy everything over.

Do you mean just copy over the folder with the long name that has the other folders and files?
