Why am I getting error message 5.7.1 when I try to send an email (no attachments) to a list of 74 people?

I sent the message to 8 other lists, and they all went through fine, but this one wouldn't. The error message said to add some text, but the message was text only (I forwarded a previously sent copy). The total number of addresses already sent to in the first 8 lists was 426, so the 9th list would have made the total exactly 500. Is there some kind of use limit for emails within a certain period of time?

Eudora and Thunderbird are both email client software, not a provider. Ask your provider. Providers have servers and the error is from their server.

Email providers have limits, not Thunderbird. Since the error is from your providers server you should ask them.

My email provider is Eudora OSE, which is part of (or under) Thunderbird. I'd like to know what error 5.7.1 means.
