ALL links in emails and even the HELP menus don't work anymore, seems like the latest Thunderbird update. I use Windows 7 and Explorer 11. I'm not a techie!!

The message window I get every time I click on any links in email and even Thunderbird HELP tabs says: "Launch application-this link needs to open with an application. Choose other application." I never changed anything and my default is already set to Explorer 11, and I use Windows 7. It seems the problem started after the latest update of Thunderbird. I tried to follow your instructions but got totally lost and confused because I'm a senior non-techie. Meanwhile non of the links work anymore!
