All my Local Folders disappeared when I updated (or installed a new version of) Thunderbird today. In fact, both of my active email accounts disappeared, too. I've restored one email account but can't figure out how to restore the Local Folders.

In all probability you will have two profiles showing, change to the other and make it Default.

Hi, Matt,

I tried this solution. As you said, there were two profiles but both were essentially empty. That is, when set as default, didn't result in my local folder structure re-appearing. In desperation, I used Windows Restore to revert to a few-days-old registry and that worked (though I think I'm back to the old version of Thunderbird).

In any event, I appreciate you're taking the time to answer. Thanks. Scott
