scrolling stops randomly, only note for this issue is I have to hit many buttons in my mouse. when putting firefox in background (i.e. windows explorer in front of firefox) scrolling works. I have tried many mouses suspecting that issue because of the mouse, but all the same. only resolution for this problem is restarting windows, I'm using wireless mouse.

Hi iAyman, please ignore the spam message promoting an unofficial phone number.

(Sorry, I don't have a suggestion for the mouse issue at the moment.)

Sorry that you are having that problem.

The place to start is with the basic troubleshooting / diagnostic protocol for Firefox. Especially the Firefox SafeMode. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems
