I deleted account off Thunderbird and signed back in but as a IMAP and that fixed it. Thanks

Presumably you access your email server using the IMAP protocol. Your service provider should have instructions for doing this. Then, in each client there is usually a configuration option for deleting mail on server when deleted on client.

It only doesn't sync through the Thunderbird mail. So whenever I open it on my phone then I go to my computer to open it in Thunderbird its acts as if I never opened it. Is there a way to get it to sync? I actually just checked and its set up as a pop, does this need to change?
