Earlier, when I you wanted to go to a specific folder in the Bookmarks in the Sidebar, you just typed the first letter of the folder. Now, when you do the same, Firefox will type the letter to the search box! Can this be changed?

I think that should still work (works for me).

Did you make sure that the tree area with the bookmarks has focus as it sounds that the search bar has focus ?

You can click at the far left on a line to prevent Firefox from opening the bookmark.

Thanks, that was a good advice. I feel stupid. It seems that I can click at the far left. Then the focus is in the tree area and the typed letter goes to the specific folder.
