Syncronise gmail calendar with Thunderbird Home calendar
Dear Help Desk,
I’ve been using Thunderbird for many years and I really like it, but after reinstalling, I can’t set my "Home" Calendar to see an invitation with a corporate email address in my gmail calendar as well. I've downloaded an add on, so syncing works from the direction of the gmail calendar, so I can see the gmail calendar in Thunderbird.
I would like to know what to set in the "Home" calendar to sync to the gmail calendar.
Best regards,
Csaba

Dear David,
It was done before I sent my mail.
Maybe I was not clear. I have company mail what is in Thunderbird. I didn"t put my gmail into Thunderbird.I have gmail calendar in Thunderbird.
My problem is, when I get an invitation for my company mail from another company and I accept it, that event appears in "Home" calendar, what is original calendar in Thunderbird. In the past the same accepted events synronised into my private gmail and I saw that in my phone and Thunderbird as well. At the moment this doesn't work and I don't see company events in my gmail calendar, because there don't synrconise between Thunderbird Home calendar and Gmail calendar.
I checked some articles for the solution, amoung then yours also, but there did not give a solution for me. So, I am looking for the solution for it.
Best,
Csaba

You'd need to assign your company email address to your private Google Calendar. In the Thunderbird Calendar tab: right-click the Google Calendar in the left pane - Properties Select your company email address from the 'Email' drop-down menu.

Your local Home calendar, and the Google network calendar are entirely different ones. You cannot synchronize different calendars.
I have a similar problem. When I respond to an invite, it always goes to my home calendar, which is local. I would like to choose which calendar the invites go to. When I try to edit the invite, they can not be edited and so no choice of calendars is available. My online calendars are not tied to my emails. For instance, I have an AOL email account but use a Google calendar. This is similar but not identical to "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1332030"
