I have my primary password but I accidentally deleted my brian@brianruhe.ca password. How do I replace it? Netfirms.com disabled my email because I sent too many mass emails. They reinstated it but couldn't fix this. They said contact Thunderbird.

Since you have an account there, why can't you reset your password there? If Thunderbird deleted your password, that's your best bet.

How do I resent my password? Netfirms told me to go to Tools → options but I had an old version of Thunderbird and there is no Tools → options. I just downloaded the new version today but there's no difference I can see.

If you need a new password, you do that on the Netfirms page. If you have a cpanel account, you do it there. All you can do on Thunderbird is enter the new password, once you have it. And it's Tools>settings on newer versions. If you have a new password, you enter it by completely deleting the old one. To do that, go to tools>settings>privacy&security and at the Passwords section, delete the entire row for your incoming and outgoing servers. Once they're gone, Thunderbird will prompt for a new password.
