Missing Thunderbird profile
I backed up my TB using the Export program and also copied all TB files to a backup. TB won't load and can't find my profile. I've copied all files back to original folders, but still won't load. (missing profile) As I can't load TB I can't import the zipped files. Should I remove TB completely and install it with a new profile? Suggestions welcomed. TIA.

what did you do after exporting the profile? Copying files doesn't cause the profile to be gone. Rather than piece the components back, it may be simpler for you to - uninstall thunderbird completely and reinstall - click the import button to access the zipped backup.
Will uninstalling delete all existing emails, or only the program?
All of your messages should be in the zipped backup.
