Hi - I'm running Thunderbird version 115 and I'd like to export the filters from one of my iMacs and import them into Thunderbird 115 on another iMac. I don't see any mechanism to do that.

I dug around and installed the 'ImportExportTools NG' add-on but that will only import/export the entire profile (as I read it).

I'm reasonably handy with Unix if it comes to that ...

Thanks! John

- exit the OS - go to profile folder and locate the account, either under Imapmail folder or Mail folder - look for file named msgfilterrules.dat within the account - copy as desired to same location on other machine.

This is a plain text file, so you can review it or change if needed.
