Well, first you could try the latest version. For some reason, it hasn't yet pushed onto the main page for FoxTab:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxtab/versions/

If that doesn't work well, which features do you want to replace?

Well my foxtab worked fine on all my computers until yesterday. I guess firefox did an auto upgrade to 9.0.1 and then foxtab went into a coma. No one seems to have an answer. Is foxtab dead, gone for good? That was my favorite add-on and the reason I use firefox. Without foxtab it's just another browser. Has any one found anything close to foxtab?

You should upgrade your browser to Firefox 10

Two of my computers do/did have 10.o.1 and 10.0.2. No go. I installed older version 8 and all is good in the world of foxtab. I had to un-tick Auto update in Firefox because the first time I closed it and then reopened it, well, it updated and foxtab went back into a coma. So now all are at 8.0.1 and working fine.

This is too cool. I was going to try what mluna said in "my FoxTab extension stopped working toay 2/17/2012 when i click on it I just get a blue window with NO grid.I tried reoving ad reinsstalling but same thing.ay ideas?" about other add-in conflict so I manually updated Firefox to 10.0.2 to try that but foxtab was working already when update was over and foxtab continues to work. So I did same to other computers and all are good. So maybe there was something missing due to other upgrades. So I down graded to 8.0.1 and enabled foxtab and then upgraded to 10.0.2 and still works.
