When I download Firefox, I get a rectangular logo but never get a prompt to drag it into my Mac's application folder.

I tried dragging the rectangular logo into my applications folder but when I try to drag it into the Mac's dock it does not stay there. I do not get the circular blue and orange Firefox logo. I am an old guy, not a computer whiz, so please be as specific as possible with your advice. Thanks very much.

Install Firefox on your Mac using the steps mentioned in the link provided in my previous post. That way you will be able to use Firefox more easily.

IF that fixes it, then good for you, otherwise wait for a more comprehensive reply from one of the other contributors who are well aware of Mac systems. Sry i might not be much help in this matter cause i don't know much about Mac systems.
