I just had my sys cleaned of viruses, and installed Trend Micro Security, and when I loaded Firefox 7, it disabled my security. How can I get my security back and delete Firefox?

My IBM, now running windows XP 2003, has just been cleaned of malware and viruses, and I bought and installed Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security. Then when I reloaded Firefox 7.0, it stated the new software is not compatible and been disabled. I do not wish to try the method offered, with a chance that Firefox may crash. So my option is to make Trend Micro work and disable Firefox until they allow Trend to function correctly. Also, when this situation arises in a Firefox load, the option should be given to the user, to continue (and disable) OR abort the loading of Firefox....

Firefox does not and can not disable an entire Anti-Virus application. The most that Firefox will do is to disable a Firefox add-on which isn't stated as compatible with Firefox.

See Trend Micro for an updated version of the incompatible Trend Micro add-on for Firefox.

Yes as you misunderstood the message as it was referring to the extension (see Tools->Add-ons ->Extensions) that Trend Micro installed in Firefox that was not compatible with Firefox 7, not Firefox disabling the whole Trend Micro antivirus software itself.
