How do I uninstall inbox.com - nothing works

more options

o Problem: In error I downloaded "inbox.com" thinking it was merely a travel/train locator tool. Now my Mac opens to "inbox.com" NOT Firefox (I want Firefox!)

o Help needed: How do I TOTALLY & COMPLETELY remove "inbox.com"?

o What I've tried:

   (1) I've followed inbox.com "uninstall" directions - they do NOT work.
   (2) I've tried Firefox's general "remove plug-ins" directions - no help. (I can't even get into "about plug-ins" - not on location bar)

Steps

  1. Remove the Addon from Firefox - http://toolbar.inbox.com/faq.aspx?faqid=2876&faqmod=WST_Install#2
  2. Goto Application Finder > Check whether any application in the name of "Inbox" > if so remove it.
