When I go to face book or other web pages and view photos the flicker. This only happens when I use firefox. If I go to the same pages using Internet Explorer they work just fine.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
