Your email provider administers your email password. Thunderbird has nothing to do with setting up or resetting your password. You need to work with your email provider. Go to your providers web mail or email help page and look for a link to reset your email password.

No one from this forum or Thunderbird knows your password or will be sending you anything to do with your password.

The real problem was that Mozzilla promissed to send me an e-mail. That e-mail never arrived. Not in Thunderbird and also not in my webmail account. I posted a new question about Thunderbird being slow. Roelof Haak

Maybe in the future you should specify what password you are trying to reset. This forum is for the support of Thunderbird email client software so the assumption is that is why you are here. There are other areas of this group of Mozilla support for other applications including the actual use of the forum itself.
