I keep upgrading FF, it keeps crashing on me. Last update yesterday, still several crashes since then. Can Mozilla really fix this bug? It's been happening for the last few versions.

First try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox, go from : Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing "Use hardware acceleration when available" , to see if that solve the problem.

But better is to Upgrade your graphics drivers .

I disabled the hardware acceleration, we'll see if that works. Upgrading the graphics drivers seems like too big a deal, because I have no idea what graphics I'm using, and although I followed a few screens in the various driver update suggestions, it's still beyond me. I update Windows frequently, and just went into see if there were any graphics driver updates that I missed, but there aren't any. Unless they're embedded within the regular Windows updates (my system is 64 bit). So, I'll let you know how it goes.

Actually, I looked again and did find a couple of Intel driver updates and they're installing as we speak. Again, I'll let you know how things go now. Thanks for your assistance.

The crash reports flagged these programs;

atidxx32.dll = Advanced Micro Devices

I don't know what that means or what to do about it.

The issue is related to the graphic drivers.

Thanks all. I've updated my graphics drivers and so far so good. If the problem is anything more obtuse than that, I'll just forget about it. Best wishes to all.
