presently to add a site to my New Tab page:

00 = open a New Tab page 0 = bookmark site 1 = drag site into empty rectangle on New Tab page

i would like to just enter by typing or dragging directly, without having to bookmark it first. pls advise

You can drag an history item as well (e.g. from the history sidebar), so yuo do not need to bookmark a website.
