my password or user id is not being accepted and i can not read any mail till i can sign in.

Since 1-9-2015 Yahoo.com does not accept my password. I have tried every password that I have used in the past 8 years and none are accepted. I can find no way to put in my proving answers that was requested when I signed up in order to prove I am me. Therefor I cant change my password. HOW DO I GET BACK INTO E-MAIL NOW??? All your support helps say you will send me an e-mail with a fix but I cant read e-mails without signing in!

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
