Why can't I have my Yahoo bookmarks in Firefox 36???

more options

I had my Yahoo bookmarks on the previous version of Firefox, click the icon, got the dropdown with all my folders, no problem. I upgrade to Firefox 36 & <POOF> - my bookmarks are gone. I try uninstalling the Yahoo toolbar, which is how I access my bookmarks, & reinstalling several times, with no success. I want my Yahoo bookmarks back!!!

Chosen solution

hi, unfortunately this is a regression with firefox 36. yahoo got contacted by mozilla about this issue - it would be up to them to provide an update to their addon to make it compatible with current versions of the browser again. this is tracked in bug #1131604 (please don't post in bug reports)
