You can look at the Theme Font & Size Changer extension to adjust the font size of the user interface and possibly set a global zoom via the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref that affects both the user interface and web pages. You can do this via the Options/Preferences of the extension (about:addons or the Tools menu): Zoom.
