When I try to send emails from my Thunderbird account at the office I get a message about the Charter IPN not being valid. Any idea why this could be occurring? It has happened to me a couple of other times when I have brought my laptop outside of my home but never from here. I really need to be able to send emails from my laptop at work and don't know how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You're probably trying to use Charter's SMTP server, and it's either blocked by the workplace network, or you're being refused access (by Charter) because you're using a network connection with a IP address that doesn't belong to Charter.

You need a better email provider who offers an authenticating SMTP server which accepts connections from any network. Google, Yahoo, Live Mail, GMX etc all over these kind of connections.
