Did you install the Password Exporter in Firefox and used its export item to create and XML or CSV file?

  • Firefox > Preferences > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

You shouldn't save the extension to your documents folder if that is what you did, but you have to install the extension
