How do I stop the sync or reverse it please?

How do I stop the sync or reverse it please?

Chosen solution

Hi

In Tools>Options>Sync, click on the option to Disconnect.

This will then stop you from syncing again until you reconnect (Make sure you have your Sync user details and password handy).

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look into a different solution for you.

Thanks, I'll do that. I've got a two devices I can recover from. I take it that Sync runs on browser shutdown/restart and not instantly?

History recovered. Thanks for your help.

Hi

Sync runs (I believe) is triggered by various behaviors, such as connecting to sync, browsing the web and whether you have multiple devices connected. From what i have read, the fastest sync interval is 5 minutes.

The technical description can be located here.

Glad I could help and that everything is okay.
