i synced firefox on my friend's laptop to retrieve a forgotten password for one website. I want to remove the sync from this laptop so it does not continue to sync info from my other computers and devices. I want to sign out of sync on this laptop. Any ideas???

You can disconnect from Sync by clicking the e-mail address in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list or go to "Options/Preferences > Sync".

You will have to remove data that is merged via Sync and that you do not want to share with your friend yourself.

If you want to be sure then you can change the password of the Firefox Sync account on your own computer. That will make it impossible for other devices to access the account.
