Just installed latest update (45.0). Now every file I open has the line "To Protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content of this message." This even on message from no-reply@mozilla.org!" Can I control this, or is a fix required?

Chosen solution

Remote content settings were not retained from the previous version:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/45.0/releasenotes/

(3rd last 'What's New' feature.)

Look under Tools/Options/Privacy/Mail Content.
