How do you recover the address book that has not been dumped out. Computer crashed, data recovered without the address book?

My computer crashed. I have recovered my data and reinstalled Thunderbird so I have all my emails sent and received but I have an empty address book. How do I recover my address book please?

Normally I would bump them out into a file and import them into Thunderbird but the last dump file is out of date hence my question on how to recover my address book.

I assume you located your old profile to get your old mail.

In the root of the old profile are MAB file (address books.

Abook is the personal address book and history is the collected address book.

These two can simply replace those on your new install. Just close Thunderbird and copy them in to replace the empty ones.

If you have other address books. you will need this add-on to import them. https://freeshell.de//~kaosmos/morecols-en.html
