Remember Password prompt is not being shown for any site i visit. Nor i'm able to see any Saved Logins. But i can see there are logins in logins.json file in my profile

I have tried multiple options, even removed all profiles and done fresh install, even then it does not work . Please help as i have many logins saved.

Chosen solution

Thanks Fred. I have now resolved this. I had to fully re-install windows, then using backups get the older profile and install older Firefox 31.0, then upgrade to 43.0 , Take backup of saved password. And finally upgrade to 47.0.

Thanks for all your help

Hello, was a Master Password setup in Firefox?

No, there was no Master Password setup.

Were you using Private Browsing (nothing is recorded) ?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Hi Fred, Yes , even in the safe mode i see the same issue.

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?

No, Still the same issue. Not able to understand what could be the reason. This started as soon as 49.0 was updated automatically.
