Firefox has become completely unusable unless it is in Safe Mode. Restarted computer, removed every single add-on, extension, plugin, updated Java, Adobe Flash, etc. Uninstalled completely, reinstalled, installed previous versions, nothing is working every single website even a blank page freezes and hangs every 5 seconds.

Toggled: network.http.pipelining (no effect)

Every other browser works very fast (Chrome, Edge, Opera).

Computer Specs: Windows 10 Pro (Latest Version) 32 GB DDR3 RAM nVidia 1080 AMD FX 8350 - 4.0 Ghz (8-Core)

This literally happened 3-4 hours ago (12:00 AM PST) The system was working fine. I closed Firefox for 5 mins and then opened it to check my email and it completely broke.

hi, we are currently aware of a bitdefender signature update that's causing some havoc for firefox users - are you using bitdefender security products on your system by chance? https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/69zsnj/help_super_laggy_firefox_browser_08052017/dhbles0/

I have also refreshed Firefox using the Refresh feature, toggling Multiprocess Windows and toggling Hardware Acceleration.
