I have e-mails from 3 accounts that are filtered into work folders for each of my work accounts. I would like to be able to manually highlight those work folders that have jobs pending in some way so that I don't have to search each one once I have read an e-mail and it is no longer highlighted that there is unread mail.

If you apply 'Tags' eg: 'Pending' to an email then you use that word 'Pending' to do a global search.

example: Create a tag called 'Pending' set some emails up with a tag called 'Pending' In global search text box type: Pending select the drop down option 'Messages tagged: Pending' This should open a new tab showing all the folders which contain emails tagged with Pending. Loads of additional filters and abiity to convert listed emails to a list. So you can see everything in one search.
