How to stop "restore session" every time I open Firefox?

Since the most recent update, every time I open my browser (Firefox) it automatically goes to restore my previous session, even though I closed it out and I do not want to restore the previous session. How do I make it so my homepage opens up when I start Firefox instead of it asking me if I want to restore the previous session?

Thank you.

hi JCombs, this unwanted behaviour can be caused when you use the third-party software ccleaner and have ticked the setting to clear the session for firefox there...

I do use CCleaner, but I never had this problem before the most recent Firefox update. Since I like to clear my browser history with CCleaner, I guess this is something that I'll just have to live with now?
