Avira Alert: trojan has found in mozilla profiles folder after updating 57.0
I am confused. Can Avira be right?
Trojan has found in the following folder: C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\tab9fsey.default-1494393169451\cache2\entries and the file is named 7F1C77071EA38F1DAD4F951B7994D8C66916FF94
System: Win 8.1 64bit
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

Are you still using this profile?
It was created via a refresh in May 10, 2017 (1494393169451).
You can find links to each registerd profile folder on the about:profiles page.
You can clear this folder yourself if you are worried about this alert, but as written above, files in the disk cache normally can't do much harm.

The wise guy that has approved this automatic update did not think a little on all the security add-ons that will be disabled. so i would not be surprised if thousands of computers got infected today.
I suspect that Avira is correct - but it is inconsequential where it is sitting.
That "trojan" is in the cache - it ain't gonna hurt you unless you go poking around in the cache.
If it bothers you just being there, just clear the cache.
Thanks for your help!
@the-edmeister: Nope, does not work. Still there.
Any other ideas?

@ core-el: Thank you very much! This time clearing the folder was successful!
I do not understand what it means whether I still using the profile. I am not quite good at these things. Sorry!
