I use Windows anti virus Sky provides email amd internet see error messagebelow I cant remember performing any task which might have caused this problem

Ive tried deleting mail account also deleteing thunderbird but message still appears.

No rpblems sending and receiving when using my sky account

Also try:

Right click on mail account in Folder Pane and select 'Settings' This open the 'Account Settings' select 'Server Settings'

2. Change Authentication Method to something different than the one you have

3. Close and re-open Thunderbird; not working

4. Change Authentication Method back to 'Normal Password'

5. Close and re-open Thunderbird; it should then be working
