When I open a new tab and want to watch an HTLM video (mostly Youtube, not flash vidoes) on it, the sound does not work. When I restart the Windows Audio service as advised on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAGK783bb-E the sound goes back to working on all open tabs, but won't work on new tabs. So I have sound working on some tabs and not on the new ones.

I do not have this issue on Chrome.

Solutions I tried and that did not work:

- modify the register using https://ccm.net/forum/affich-19119-no-sound-from-web-browser

- solutions given here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-to-do-if-firefox-wont-play-any-sounds

- check the volume mixer

- uninstall audio driver

- restart in safe mode

- refresh firefox.

Thanks for your help,

Bolb

Hi cor-el, I already re-installed the drivers and checked the services, this did not solve the problem.
