Video & PayPal Issues
I use Firefox & Chrome. The same videos skip with Firefox, but not Chrome. I'd prefer not to use Chrome, but updates to Firefox are causing problems! Doesn't matter whether they're on YouTube, FB, or wherever. I've tried dealing with the buffering solutions, but that doesn't work. I don't have time to troubleshoot Firefox all day.
Also, on various sites, my PayPal won't pop up during purchases. I have to use Chrome with the exact same website link. Really, what's going on with all these updates? I also use some add-ons and block cookies, etc. Not as many add-ons with Chrome, though.
Trying to get myself more secure in a world that is breaking down everybody's browser walls. Chrome hasn't made changes in a long time, but with the constant updating of Firefox, 3rd-party software just can't keep up!

I use chrome and firefox and have no issue using paypal. Chrome can install 3rd party and not all addon are made for both browser. Sounds more like bad firefox upgrade or install-since there is no info firefox install. I can run and watch YT on both Chrome and Firefox without problem.
Modified
Perhaps I didn't mention that this happens only when buying from a merchant using PayPal. The window either won't pop up from the merchant's website, or I get a blank new tab. This has gone on during the last 3 updates to Firefox Quantum 64-bit.
As for videos, I rebooted, and that part went away. I'll have to wait until I made another online purchase to see if that problem disappeared, too.

Is it still happening?
Please do the following:
Click on the Windows icon 'Start' (bottom-left) and in the right column, bottom, click on Run. Enter in:

DxDiag /64bit
...Wait until the green bar loads and disappears, then click "Save All Information".
Post back here in the Forum, just these information parts, under these three Headers:

Yes, it's still happening. Just happened yesterday. I have to wait until I purchase something using PayPal. Still works with Chrome, but not this browser. I saved the information, but have to leave now. Will set myself a note to come back in here with the information you asked you. Thank you!

Edit your first Post and check-box the 'Need more info' part.
If you run FF in Safe Mode (Restart With Add-ons Disabled), does that help with PayPal? (I shop with PayPal and get shuttled over to and back from PayPal ok.)
What is your 'Content Blocking' setting (Options > Privacy & Security)?

Uh oh ... there is no checkbox for 'Need more information' in my original post. Do you mean for the information I provided the last time? There is one for this comment. I have to wait until I purchase something with PayPal to switch to that mode. I don't buy things daily ... in fact, I probably only do it a couple times per month. My content blocking is 'Custom'. Perhaps I should put a screen shot in here, because there isn't just 1 thing set for that.
Change your content blocking to standard to see if that isn't the problem. Some sites uses cookie and tracking otherwise that could cause problems.

Nah, I have the DiagDx info. It's the Forum option of other info I need from your first post.
Edit your first Post and check-box the 'System Details' or 'I am providing the requested information'. Maybe you can't Edit and supply it after a Post. (Otherwise, list your Extensions.)

As per WestEnd, set your 'Content Blocking' setting (Options > Privacy & Security) to Standard to see what happens.
