I have a bunch of folders and sub-folders I'd like to exclude from being included in the global search index. The folders are across multiple accounts and within my local folders (where I have archived older mail).

For any given folder, I can select the folder in the folder pane, right click on Properties and de-select the check box "Include messages in this folder in global search results".

Is there any way to apply this globally to a folder and all its sub-folders? Or to an entire account?

Running Thunderbird 60.4.0 on Windows 10

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply!

I've downloaded and installed the Glodaquilla add-on. I have not been able to get to work, though. I willexperiment further and send a support e-mail request to the author to figure out what's going on.

If I get it to work, I'll add a further reply to help anyone else with the same issue

It's exactly what I'm looking for, though, so I really appreciate your response.

It's likely you have to rebuild the database the first time the add-on is enabled:
