Move Firefox app to external storage?
Hi, I'm running into trouble with my Firefox on Android as it grows bigger and bigger in terms of storage space. Now my device is full and I can't even update apps anymore.
Most of my apps can be moved to external SD card. I have heaps of space there. But Firefox does not allow to be moved (under app settings, storage). So I am wondering, why does Firefox not allow moving? Why does it have to sit on my internal device storage and block everything else?
Please change that setting in the app so I can move Firefox to external storage and free up my (little) internal device memory. Or do I have to buy a new phone just to use Firefox? Or rather use a different browser...
Thanks!

Seriously, because external storage is corrupting files? So why all the other apps work just fine from external storage? Maybe your device has a broken SD card then?
Looks like I have to go for a different browser.
Hi
Although this is something that we do not currently have in place, we do keep this under review and if may feature in a future update.
I see many ppl. want this (found already at least 3 similar requests when wanting to add my own question). So I won't post a separate one but please increase development priority of making this work (again). I thought it's just a flag that developers have to add to the installer (you can make a big note somewhere that if you do this then some of the functionality will not be available or not work properly due to Android OS restrictions, I don't mind)...
For now I had no choice but to uninstall it on an older device as my other apps (even from SD card) couldn't update anymore due to FF taking to much default app space. But I want to install it back (to SD card).
Regards & thanks for your efforts.
