Hi You can move the emails from one folder to another. Not really the whole folder, as there is an Inbox already active in the right location, busy receiving recent emails, and you do not want to mess that up. Looking at your image, there could be a very large number of emails to move. I would not try to move all of them at once. Do you really need to keep them all or could some be deleted first? Would she consider keeping a lot of the older ones where they are and calling that her old messages, and new messages only in the main Inbox? Before cleaning up or moving large numbers of messages, back up the local data (make a copy of the profile). https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data Be aware that if you have an IMAP account, moving messages from local folders to inbox is also uploading them to the email server. So, take it slowly and carefully, in small batches. Test with just a few first to make sure it is all working as you expect. Then bigger batches. Select the messages to move (select multiple messages) then right click and choose Move to - and then the folder you want to put the messages in. Or you can get there by menu - messages - move to. This previous answer describes the move messages process (after describing how to create folders). https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1027435 Really, I would consider keeping them where they are and calling that her archive Good luck, Agnes
