I have a laptop that is left on 24/7. I also leave Firefox running. Multiple times everyday I Firefox loses internet connection and I have to force a shutdown and restart Firefox and then it works fine again. Any idea why this is occurring?

My system, and the rest of my applications, work fine and do not lose internet connection. It is just FireFox

Thanks, but after cleaning the cookies, I restarted firefox and issue continued. I can't disable McAffee as it requires admin privileges which I don't have.

So I tried another solution that I found. From command line:

ipconfig /release ipconfig /ipflushdns ipconfig /renew netsh int ip set dns netsh winsock reset restart PC

And today I just lost connection like 1-2times along the day, instead of losing it each 2-3 mins. Not sure if it was the cookies/history cleanup or the dns release, but fo far seems to be better for now. Thanks for the help!
