Hi, I am trying to convert my address book contacts to vcard/vcf to try and aggregate all my contacts into a crm. Proving to be a challenge. Is there an export tool for this or an internal function?

Select an address book, then Tools/Export, Save as type, vCard. Press Alt if the Menu Bar with Tools is hidden. The format is vCard 2.1; the CardBook add-on uses a higher version, if needed.
