Strange Error when Reading Daily Mail Newspaper
SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP
I got the above error message when reading the newspaper on line! It doesn't happen when running Mozilla FireFox in Safe Mode, with all Add-Ons switched off.
It doesn't happen when reading the same site in Internet Explorer.
Any solutions or suggestions will be gratefully accepted.
The complete error message is pasted below.
Thank you.
Mike.

This also happened in the Daily Mirror Newspaper.

Your server apparently doesn't offer any cipher suites necessary to
establish a secure https connection that are supported in Firefox.
You can check what kind of cipher suites Firefox can make use of
by visiting; https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html
Firefox will just show the SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP error
when encountered any site using the RC4 cipher.
Hi Fred, thank you for your reply.
This has just started to happen today, my wife reads all the gossip in the Daily Mail and has done for years, I do crossword in the Daily Mirror, again for year, so something has changed overnight I think.
I have the latest version of Firefox, 77.0.1 (64 Bit).
I unfortunately no nothing about ciphers other than it is a word for a code I think.
I checked in google when this started today and found that it happened before, several years ago.
The fact that it works with add-ons switched off suggests that it could be one of those, I suppose that I could try switching then on one at a time, till the error recurs.
Thanks again for your reply.
Mike.
