Hello, The problem I have been running into, is that I do not see a way to stop Firefox from showing previous websites that I have visited when I am searching using the address bar. Removing all of my history does remove these suggested websites, but to also requires removing all my history, which I do not want to do. Is there any way to turn off these suggestions? Thank you

Hi. b.k. I don’t believe there is a way to eliminate the search suggestions totally (at least not that I could find). As you said, some of the suggestions come from your history. The software also looks at your bookmarks. I tried a couple of changes that resulted in fewer suggestions in the list. Here’s what I did on my iPad.

1. Touch the 3 bar menu 2. Select Settings 3. Select Search 4. Turn off Show Search Suggestions 5. Turn off some or all of the search engines at the bottom of the screen.

The current default search engine shows at the top. You have to have one, but you can change the default by touching the heading and selecting a new default.
