My goal is to add a Private Browsing shortcut as an icon on me Android homepage. Unfortunately, I see no shortcut options in the contextual menu nor settings.

As many of you know, Chrome offers an easy contextual menu when long pressing the app icon. Also, you can easily add a shortcut to each of those menu options. This makes it incredible easy.

Can someone tell me if this is possible?

Hi

This is not possible with Firefox for Android, but is a feature that will be coming very soon. If you wish to try the Beta version form the Google Play store you will be able to give that option a try.
